Transcash Guide: How to Buy Tickets, Load Your Card, and Use It Safely
What is a Transcash Ticket and how do you load your card with it? Our guide explains purchasing, loading, and security step by step.
What Is Transcash?
Transcash is a prepaid payment system centered around the Transcash prepaid Mastercard. You load the card with funds and use it for payments. Loading is done via a Transcash voucher, also known as a Transcash Ticket or top-up code.
What Is a Transcash Ticket?
A Transcash Ticket is a prepaid code with 12 characters that you redeem to load balance onto your Transcash card. You purchase the ticket for a fixed amount and then enter the code into the Transcash app or your account on the Transcash website.
Important: You need a Transcash prepaid card to redeem the code. Without the card, the Transcash Ticket cannot be used.
How Transcash Works in Three Steps 1. Buy a ticket: Select an amount and pay. 2. Receive code: You get the 12-digit top-up code via email. 3. Load card: Enter the code in the Transcash app or your Transcash account online.
How Long Is the Code Valid?
Top-up codes are generally valid for six months from the purchase date. Please refer to Transcash’s terms and conditions for exact details. Redeem your code promptly and don’t wait until the expiry.
Advantages of Transcash - You can only spend the funds you have previously loaded. - No credit card is needed to use the prepaid card. - You receive the top-up code digitally by email.
Using Transcash Safely
Treat your code like cash. Only enter it in the official Transcash app or your Transcash account. Never share it with third parties, even if they claim they need to verify it for you. Legitimate companies or authorities won’t ask for payment via prepaid codes. If someone asks you to provide a Transcash code, it is very likely a scam.
