Zalando Gift Card Help: Solutions for Code and Balance Issues
Your Zalando gift card isn't accepted or the balance is missing? Here are the most common issues and how to resolve them.
My Zalando gift card code isn’t being accepted
First, make sure you have entered the code completely and without any spaces or typos. The safest way is to copy the code directly from the email. Also try adding the code via your Zalando account in the voucher section instead of entering it at checkout. Sometimes waiting a moment and trying again helps.
Message says the code does not exist
If Zalando reports the code does not exist, it is usually due to a typing error, a voucher intended for a different Zalando country shop, or because the code isn’t yet active. Gift cards are valid only for the Zalando shop of the country for which they were issued. Check your order confirmation to see which shop the voucher is meant for. If the problem persists, please contact us with your order number.
The gift card cannot be used for a specific item
Zalando gift cards are valid for eligible products sold by Zalando or its partners. They cannot be used to purchase additional gift cards. Vouchers from Zalando Lounge typically cannot be applied to Zalando orders. Please review Zalando’s voucher terms if a particular item is not accepted.
My balance is lower than expected
Check your Zalando account to see your remaining balance. If you partially paid an order with a gift card, only the required amount was deducted. Any remaining balance stays available for future purchases.
I haven’t received an email with the code
Check your spam folder and verify that you entered the correct email address. Some orders undergo verification before the email is sent. If you do not receive anything after a reasonable time, please contact support with your order number.
Can I return or redeem my gift card for cash?
Zalando gift cards cannot be returned, and cash payouts for the balance are not possible. Digital gift cards are generally non-returnable. Please see our terms and conditions for details about returns.
Security: How to recognize fraud
Legitimate companies or authorities will never ask for payment via gift card codes. If someone asks you to share a Zalando code, it is very likely a scam. Sharing the code means losing the balance. Do not buy codes on behalf of unknown people.
